A Bit About MK LeFevour

After many decades honing my intuitive gifts using the Tarot, meditation and energetic practices including tai chi, qi gong and yoga, I was accepted as an apprentice to a Mayan shaman named Manuel Flores, in 1998.  Over the next 10 years  Manuel taught me how to connect deeply with my own Spirits.  During this time, I was also fortunate to work with Manuel's mother, Paulina Betanco who was Manuel's teacher.  Before Manuel's death, Paulina adopted me as her spiritual daughter at my Mesa making Manuel and I spiritual brother and sister.

My mesa (altar) is a portal to Spirit. The objects on the mesa hold different energies that help to deepen consciousness and connection to that inner realm. Like many mystical experiences, it’s hard to put into language but my mesa is an ever-changing sacred space that lends me its energy to help others.

As someone who is fascinated by Spirit in every tradition, I was ordained as an Interfaith Minister by the Chaplaincy Institute

In additional to my spiritual mentoring practice, I work part-time as a hospice chaplain and bereavement coordinator for Tucson Medical Center Hospice and have a bereavement counseling practice:  Grief Recovery Tucson
